Every event is different. Here are some of the questions we're often asked about recording, streaming and event content.
What does “from” pricing mean?
Our package prices are starting points based on a straightforward production. Final pricing depends on factors such as event length, number of cameras, location, streaming requirements and any additional editing or content you need. We'll agree on the scope and price with you before the event.
Can you record an event without streaming it live?
Absolutely. Not every event needs to be live. We can professionally record your event using multiple cameras and provide a finished video for your website, YouTube channel, members, participants or archive.
Where can you stream our event?
Depending on your event and existing accounts, we can stream to platforms such as YouTube or Facebook. We'll discuss the best destination with you beforehand and make sure the production is configured appropriately.
Do we receive a recording after a live stream?
Yes. Our LIVE package includes a complete recording, giving you a version of the event that can continue to be viewed or used after the live broadcast has ended.
Can you include our logo, graphics or scoreboards?
Yes. We can incorporate your organisation's branding, event titles and other graphics into the production. For sporting events, we can also provide appropriate scoreboard graphics where required.
Can you create social-media content from the event?
Yes. An event can provide much more content than the full recording. We can create shorter highlight clips, interviews and social-media content that helps extend the life and reach of your event after it finishes.
What happens if the venue has poor internet?
Reliable internet is important for live streaming, so we'll discuss connectivity with you before the event. If live streaming isn't practical at the venue, we can still professionally record the event and prepare the finished video for online viewing afterwards.
Do you only work with large organisations and events?
Not at all. GMS is particularly suited to sporting organisations, clubs, associations, community groups, smaller businesses and events that want professional production without the cost and complexity of a large television-style crew.
